Our mission is to welcome women new to the Guelph area, acquaint them with their new city and promote friendship among members.

Our Club is a non-profit group designed for those who are new to the Guelph area (less than three years).

The Guelph Newcomers' Club is associated with the National Newcomers' Club of Canada
Come out to our social and sign up night in September and meet others who have made their home in Guelph. If you don't make it in September, we will welcome you as a new member at any time of the year.


Prospective members can attend one meeting and one social event before joining the Club

For only a $25.00 yearly fee you can enjoy any of the fun activities listed here and receive a monthly newsletter by

Book Clubs - meet once a month in members' homes
Breakfast Club - meets on the last Thursday of the month at a local restaurant
Bridge Clubs - mixed and Ladies Bridge
Golf - seasonal at local golf course
Knitting Club - meets weekly in the winter months to knit for charity
Lunch Bunch - once a month at various restaurants in the Guelph area
Canasta Group - alternate Thursdays year round
Euchre Group - first and third Monday of the month
Singles' Dinner Club - a potluck once a month in members' homes
Walking Group - Monday mornings around Guelph area
Movie Group - meet whenever there is a good movie on
Bunko - third Thursday each month


Joining Guelph Newcomers' Club may be the best thing you ever did. Moving to a new community is always difficult - we know! We have all done it!
Now you can make many new friends in the process, meeting people who have moved from every part of Canada and lots of other places, too.
